High Efficiency
HEIC/HEVC Format
Saves space on your iPhone but may not work with older devices, Windows PCs, or some websites and apps.

Why Choose JPG Format?

💡 Important to Know
Changing this setting only affects NEW photos you take from now on. Any photos you've already taken will remain in HEIC format. If you need to convert those existing photos to JPG, you'll need to use a converter tool.
📱 Does This Affect Video?
Yes! The "Most Compatible" setting also changes videos from HEVC to H.264 format, which is more widely supported across different devices and platforms.
